Plain-language explanation of what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Last updated: 2026 · Digitech Craft, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India

Information we collect

  • · Details you submit through our enquiry form or WhatsApp: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in and anything you write in the message field.
  • · Basic technical information your browser sends automatically, such as device type, approximate location and the pages you viewed, used only in aggregate to improve the site.
  • · Information you provide during an audit or engagement, such as website access, analytics access or Google Business Profile management rights.

How we use it

  • · To respond to your enquiry and prepare the free audit or proposal you asked for.
  • · To deliver the services you have engaged us for, and to communicate about that work.
  • · To improve this website and understand which pages produce genuine enquiries.
  • · We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

  • · Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie preference.
  • · Optional analytics cookies help us see which pages perform. You can decline them in the consent banner without losing any site functionality.
  • · Any analytics or tag manager integration we add is configured to respect that choice.

Third parties

  • · We use reputable providers for hosting, email, analytics and advertising platforms such as Google and Meta. Each processes data under its own policy.
  • · Where we manage your Google Business Profile, ad accounts or analytics, we act as an authorised manager and never transfer ownership away from you.

Data retention and security

  • · Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed to respond and to meet legal or accounting obligations, then deleted.
  • · Access to client accounts is restricted to the specialist working on your project and is revoked when the engagement ends.

Your rights

  • · You may ask us at any time to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Write to hello@digitechcraft.com and we will act on it within a reasonable period.
  • · You may also withdraw consent for marketing communication at any time; it will not affect work already underway.

Changes to this policy

  • · We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
